Small actions are realised in the different countries of the Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans. They are in the responsibility of the Local Offices and decided upon by local boards consisting of 4 cultural experts and a representative of the Swiss Cooperation Office.

Small actions are considered to be one-time events: exhibitions, publications, stage productions, concerts, etc., but also research or process-based projects in the field of art theory and practice, cultural policy, mobility grants, etc.

The partners in the implementation of small actions are organisations, institutions, and groups of independent cultural workers which receive subsidiary project-specific contribution to facilitate the development and implementation of cultural projects.

The projects should correspond to the defined regional and/or national priority areas as well as contribute to fulfilling the overall objectives and the vision of the Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans.
